The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Program Manager, EDU Partnerships..

The primary role of the Program Manager is to increase awareness, alignment, and collaboration with Flywire partners to drive new value for clients by positioning Flywire for deep and meaningful integrations leading to the best payment experiences. This role has direct interactions with sales and marketing and includes supporting events, campaigns, trainings, content delivery, and launching creative incentives in an effort to enhance and grow customer engagement. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in client management, 529 Plan Management or program management. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a partner portfolio consisting of large enterprise educational funding sources. Primary partners will include 529 plans, plan managers and other partners in both the public and private sector.
  • Create and deliver regular partnership performance reviews to identify mutually appealing opportunities for growth and to drive further value for Flywire clients.
  • Identify and advocate for strategic product enhancements to optimize, secure, and grow Flywire’s presence.
  • Help ensure that the Flywire-standard becomes the industry-standard when it comes to delivering payments 
  • Develop internal and external promotional campaigns to increase revenue lift, visibility and pipeline activity.
  • Coordinate and present at various events 
  • Establish a regular cadence and standing meetings with partners to ensure strong relationship and continued collaboration
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure lifecycle management is working effectively in the organization. Propose and execute enhancements to streamline, as necessary.
  • Escalate customer care and relationship management requests to the partners or internal teams, as required
  • Attend industry conferences, lectures and trainings to continue building awareness
  • Support the Director of Strategic Partnerships in other activities as required

Our ideal candidate has:

  • 5-7 years sales, relationship management or business development experience in the government savings industry or student financial services.
  • Experience in building strategic relationships or consultative sales; the ability to build rapport quickly and meet the specific customer needs with effective solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and planning skills
  • Willingness to travel
