COBCOE International Trade Awards announced

Winners of the COBCOE International Trade Awards were announced at the COBCOE Awards Dinner in London on 9 October 2018. The awards recognise achievement in strategic European trade development.

The COBCOE International Trade Award was awarded to Farazad Productions for their B2B programme, BACK 2 BUSINESS. The programme's mission is to get everyone back to business by hosting large scale networking events across the globe. BACK 2 BUSINESS was nominated for successfully exporting its product to countries in markets as diverse as Romania and Argentina since its founding in 2009, with real take off in the past year with over 11 events. The events bring together the local business community, with engagement of International Chambers of Commerce, Business Groups alongside Government Trade teams, to provide a global arena for SME's of opportunities of meaninguful and prosperous dialogue, exploring investment and trade opportunities.

The International Trade Award recognises and celebrates a British-European Business in our network that has made significant stredes in developing its business internationally. The International Trade Award was sponsored by our partner, Flywire, the leading international payments solutions provider and presented by their Sales Director, Nicolas Gidaracos.

The TIAO Award was presented to Finnish Pro Consulting. Finnish Pro Consulting is a B2B service provider that offers classic business advisory, export, sales & development and digital marketing services to international clients. Finnish Pro Consulting uses COBCOE Connects to support Finnish companies to enter the UK market. The award was accepted on behalf of the winners by the CEO of the British & Commmonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland, Vladis Dobrokhotov.

The TIAO Award was presented to the company with the highest TIAO score on COBCOE Connects, our digital trade platform. The score is built by being active on the platform, posting opportunities and completing your profile, all of which results in being found higher in the search rankings.

The guest speaker at the Awards Dinner was Miriam González Durántez, Partner Dechert LLP & Founder and Chair, Inspiring Girls charity.
