I am outside India. Can I make my payment from abroad?

You can use Flywire to make a payment from abroad by selecting either the “Domestic Bank Transfer in Indian Rupees” or “Domestic Bank Transfer of Less Than INR Equivalent of $5,000 USD” option during the booking process, depending on your payment amount. A member of your immediate family (such as your mother or father) may assist you with your payment. All necessary details will be included in your payment instructions once your request is submitted. If a family member in India wishes to send the money from an account in India, they will have to complete an LRS Declaration form using their personal information and provide our partner with a copy of their national ID page.

If you select the "Domestic Bank Transfer in India Rupees" option during the Flywire booking process, please complete and provide your LRS Declaration form according to the specific instructions in your payment request.

Under the Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) now requires an LRS Declaration form (fully titled “A2 cum LRS Declaration”) to transfer funds abroad. As a result, the A2 form has been updated to fulfill this requirement.

If your payment is a domestic bank transfer equalling the INR equivalent of $5,000 USD or less, you may select the "Domestic Bank Transfer of Less Than INR Equivalent of $5,000 USD" option during the booking process. In this case, you do not have to fill out an LRS Declaration form because this information is collected as part of the booking process. You do not need to submit a valid proof of national ID either, as your Permanent Account Number (PAN) will be validated in real-time during the booking process.
