The Opportunity:
We, at Flywire, are looking for a bright, motivated, and hardworking Relationship Associate (RA) to work within an existing portfolio of key education accounts, as part of our Global Strategic Account team.
The Relationship Associate will build strong client relationships and drive revenue through marketing, training, and day-to-day management of client tasks and initiatives. The RA will support the efforts of 3 GSA Relationship Managers to continuously improve and expand these important client relationships, in an effort to grow and retain the value of these partnerships for Flywire.
The Relationship Associate, reporting directly to the Senior Relationship Manager of Global Strategic Accounts, with oversight from the Director of Global Strategic Accounts, will execute tasks and initiatives designed to increase payer growth, uncover new business, increase revenue, grow awareness of Flywire’s value proposition, and provide timely issue resolution to assure our clients and their payers have the best experience and support in the industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth through relationship building with client operational stakeholders, gaining a deep understanding of their challenges and goals and how to align Flywire’s efforts accordingly
- Perform onboarding, marketing, training and support initiatives to maximize growth and deliver additional revenue through value added services
- Serve as the main point of contact for daily client questions and payment troubleshooting with the aim to deliver a superior customer experience, resulting in long term client loyalty and satisfaction
- Manage the ongoing caseload and reporting efforts on behalf of our GSA’s, liaising with internal stakeholders at Flywire to solve challenges for our clients
- Maintain strategic account plans for each client, set by the GSA Relationship Managers, to maintain focused execution of our initiatives to drive both our client’s and Flywire’s goals forward
- Become an expert on the clients in your portfolio and understand the intricacies of their business to serve as a trusted advisor and consultant
- Facilitate and drive internal conversations on enhancements and projects which help our Global Strategic Accounts achieve their goals - you are the internal champion for our clients needs
Here's What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing
- 1-3 years of experience in sales or account management
- Willingness to travel internationally to visit clients 2-4 times a year
- Bilingual - English and French Speaking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A self starter with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast paced environment
- Superb presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including to senior executives
- Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with time management and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical and planning skills
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and project management skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Slack, Looker and Smartsheets is a plus
- Experience in international education, payments, banking or fintech platforms is a plus
