Payment Security Training

Our proprietary Foundation and Practitioner Payment Security training provide organisations with the opportunity to build up internal knowledge and expertise with sector-focused content and examples, with the added reassurance of the training being led by our payment security experts.

Our Payment Security Consultants also offer access to a comprehensive programme of training to support those managing and implementing a Payment Security programme, with our Payment Security Management System.

Payment Security Foundation (1 Day Online)

Aimed at those individuals who are in management roles (ranging from Director level to team leaders) who are leading or implementing Payment Security Management Program within your institution - where an understanding of “payment security” (including PCI DSS) in a broader context, as well as the key requirements is important to ensure the organisation, department or team take the appropriate steps to address this.

The training provides an overview of payment security and PCI DSS requirements, including DPA/GDPR obligations. The training also covers key activities which must be undertaken irrespective of your scope, including development and dissemination of Information Security Policies, annual risk assessments, incident response planning/testing, and cardholder data discovery.

This training has been developed specifically for the needs of higher education institutions and focuses on sector-specific examples.

(Please note: The training is intended as a stepping stone to the Payment Security Practitioner training. However, the training is not intended for users who only require operational awareness of payment security and PCI DSS controls.)

Payment Security Practitioner (2 Day Online)

Aimed at team members who will have responsibility for managing payment security in your organisation, but may also be useful for IT staff or internal auditors who will have an involvement in implementing/maintaining controls or auditing (PCI DSS compliance).

This training course builds on Payment Security Foundation (we would ask that you attend Foundation course first) and explores areas which are relevant to the needs of the sector in more detail to help you implement and manage more effective approaches to managing payment security and PCI DSS compliance.

Individuals new to PCI DSS, and who are looking to progress to a PCI ISA certification in the future may also find this useful to build their knowledge.

This training has been developed specifically for the needs of higher education institutions and focuses on sector-specific examples.
