Celebrating our scholars & evolving our Foundation
Since its inception in 2020, the Flywire Charitable Foundation's academic scholarship program has helped international college students from over 15 countries pursue their academic dreams by easing the financial burden of attaining higher education. Thousands of students applied, and we proudly granted hundreds of thousands of dollars for the next generation of leaders to put toward tuition and other education-related expenses.
The impact of our scholarship program has surpassed our wildest expectations, empowering students to overcome financial barriers and realize their full potential. While we are immensely proud of the impact this program has made, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our scholarship program in 2024 as we continue to evolve as both a company and a Foundation. While we bid farewell to this program with a heavy heart, we do so knowing that it has left an indelible mark on the lives of those we have had the privilege to support.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the students who have applied to our scholarship program, and to the winners who have demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and leadership across the academic disciplines of global health, social justice, global citizenship, and sustainability.
