Flywire Reward Program

General

  1. The Flywire Reward Program (the “Program”) is being managed by Flywire Corporation and its subsidiaries (referred to herein as “we”, “us”, “our”, and “Flywire”).
  2. The Program is managed by Flywire, but the application and acceptance of the discounts may be managed by our licensed third party transfer partner (“Partner”). More information about our partner can be found at studentservices.flywire.com or pay.flywire.com
  3. All money movement is handled by Flywire’s Partners.
  4. Persons (“Payers”) who (1) complete a cross-border education payment with a foreign exchange element to an eligible institution (“Payment”) through Flywire or complete a bank transfer through our Partner using Flywire’s Student Expenses Solution (“Transfer”) and (2) have created a Flywire user account (“Account”) are eligible to participate in the Program.
  5. To be eligible for participation, Payers must be the student or relative of the student who is the end beneficiary of the funds. Education agents, consultants, or other unrelated third parties may not participate in the program.

Program Overview

EARN POINTS

Earn a variable amount on Payments and Transfers that meet the aforementioned criteria, based on the transaction size, net of discounts.

PROGRAM FEE

There is no Program fee.

LIMIT ON POINTS EARNED

Users can hold a maximum INR 500,000 points at a given time. If we offer bonus points, we may limit the number of or period of availability for bonus points awarded for certain Payments, Transfers, and/or promotions.

POINT EXPIRATION

Points will expire 270 days after a Payer’s last completed transaction.

POINT FORFEITURE

If the Account is closed for any reason, enrollment in the Program will be terminated and any accumulated points will be forfeited.

POINT REDEMPTION

Points can be redeemed for (collectively, the “Rewards”) discounts on Payments and Transfers.

Points Management

  1. Points are not earned in the Program until they appear on the Account (the “Award Date”).

  2. Points may be deducted based on Payments and Transfers that are subsequently subject to a refund or dispute.
    1. We reserve the right to retroactively correct errors made in point awards. Points will not be earned if the Account cannot be used for new Payments and/or Transfers or participation in the Program has been suspended.

    2. At our sole discretion, we may award additional bonus points in connection with certain Payments, Transfers and/or promotions.
      1. Additional details and additional terms and conditions will be provided with such offers and are in addition to these Program Terms and Conditions unless otherwise specified therein.

    3. We reserve the right to determine which Payments and Transfers are eligible for bonus points.

  3. If a Payer believes there is a discrepancy in the number of points earned, they must notify Flywire within 30 days of the date of the Award Date.
    1. If a Payer fails to notify Flywire, the Account will be considered accurate, and all claims for adjustment will be considered waived by the Payer.

    2. In the event that an adjustment to a Payer’s point total means that they received a Reward that they were not otherwise entitled to, the Payer agrees that they owe Flywire the point value of such excess redemption and that Flywire has the right in our sole discretion to reduce the point balance accordingly, withhold any subsequent points and/or Rewards you earn that correspond(s) in number to any you received in error.

    3. Point discrepancies do not constitute billing errors.

  4. Points may not be accumulated in connection with Payments or Transfers made in violation of the laws governing Flywire or the Payer.

  5. Points cannot be combined with, or transferred to, another account.

  6. No accommodation will be made for unused or forfeited points. Points have no monetary value, are non-negotiable, and do not constitute your property. The sale or barter of points is prohibited and will void points. Points are not transferable in the event of the Payer’s death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or for any other reason. Flywire is not responsible and bears no liability for any disputes concerning the ownership, redemption, or disposition of any points.

  7. At any time, with or without cause or advance notice (except where required by law), Flywire may suspend the participation, or terminate the enrollment, of any person and/or Account in the Program. Reasons for suspension or termination include, but are not limited to, violations of these Terms and Conditions or any other agreement with Flywire, providing false or misleading information to Flywire, or circumstances that lead Flywire to suspect the Account or the Program have been misused in any way, including, but not limited to: fraud, excessive transactions, or any other abuse as determined by Flywire. During a suspension, points may not be able to be earned or redeemed.

Earning Points

  1. Payers with Accounts are able to earn Rewards through Payments and Transfers as defined previously.

  2. Payers must be logged into their account when creating a Payment or Transfer booking to earn points.

  3. Points will be earned according to certain transaction minimums and maximums, net of any discounts.

  4. Payers will only earn Rewards on transactions that include a foreign exchange (FX) between two currencies.

Reward Redemption

  1. Rewards will be applied in the form of a discount credited during a Payment or Transfer booking.

    1. Discounts for Payments will only be applied to cross-border bank transfer transactions with an FX element. All other payment methods are not eligible for Rewards discounts.

  2. Payers must be logged into their account when creating a Payment or Transfer booking to redeem points.

  3. Rewards cannot be used to discount a Transfer or Payment to an amount lower than the amount as calculated by the central bank rate.

  4. Flywire reserves the right to change the number of points required to redeem a Reward and/or the Transfer limits for redeeming Rewards at any time and without prior notice.


EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

  1. Nothing on any other website of Flywire shall be construed as conferring any license or other rights under the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of Flywire or its related companies or any third party, whether by estoppels, implication or otherwise.

  2. Points or Rewards may be subject to certain taxes. Determination and payment of any liability for such taxes regarding the earning or redemption of points or Rewards are the Payer’s sole responsibility. Please consult a tax advisor concerning any income or other tax consequences related to participation in the Program.

MISCELLANEOUS

  1. Flywire’s decisions shall be final in all matters relating to the Reward Program.

  2. Flywire reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

  3. By participating in, or claiming or accepting any points or other benefits of the Program, you consent to be bound by all the Terms and Conditions stated herein and you agree to release us and any of our respective affiliates from any claim or liability relating to the Program or your use of any Reward. Further, you agree to these Terms and Conditions by submission of payment or redemption of points for any Rewards under this Program.

  4. A Payer shall be deemed to have notice of any such amendments or interpretations upon publication of the same on the Website and shall be deemed to have accepted such amendments or interpretations by virtue of her continued participation in this Program.

    1. Should a Payer not wish to continue to participate in this Program pursuant to the prevailing terms and conditions as amended or interpreted, she may terminate participation in this Program upon written notice to Flywire.

  5. It is the responsibility of the Payer to inform Flywire of any change in the email address or phone number used for correspondence.

  6. Apart from the entitlement to the above Rewards, Payers will have no other rights or claims against Flywire.

  7. Flywire shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations caused by weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, acts of God or any other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.

  8. The Program is void where prohibited by law.

  9. Flywire reserves the right to suspend and/or terminate the Program for any reason, at any time, and without advance notice (except where required by law).
    1. Further points will not be awarded and the ability to redeem points may not be available during the suspension.

    2. If the program is terminated, no further points will be awarded.

12. Privacy Policy

  1. The Program will abide by the Flywire Privacy Policy. This policy can be accessed by visiting https://www.flywire.com/legal/privacy-policy.

  2. Separately, Flywire reserves the right to audit the Account for compliance with these Terms and Conditions. In the event an audit reveals any point or other discrepancies, Flywire can correct any such point or other discrepancies which are discovered, and the awarding of points and the redemption of points for Rewards may be delayed until such discrepancies are resolved.
