The Opportunity
- Lead the cloud and infrastructure security and secret management, including strategy definition
- Drafting security requirements for the infrastructure and the network that support any system, service or integration needed by Flywire
- Develop new Infrastructure as Code security controls
- Performing technical review on any cloud and infrastructure configuration change, including new integrations and secret management
- Provide support on cloud and infrastructure regulatory and compliance controls, providing evidence during audits
- Develop cloud security solutions to meet incident response and participate in security incident response process as cloud SME
- Influence the design and implementation of the infrastructure and network with security and privacy by design mindset
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- +5 years of cloud and infrastructure security experience (cloud and network security reviews, definition of best practices, etc)
- A "breaker" mentality, but effective at crafting the mitigating controls
- Proven knowledge of applied cryptography
- Hands-on experience with all the following:
- Security administration in AWS, GCP and/or Azure
- CI/CD and DevOps Tooling (Github, Gitlab and/or Buildkite)
- Scripting languages (Python, Golang or similar)
- Infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Ansible or similar)
- Command Line usage (Bash and/or Powershell)
- Network & Infrastructure engineering
- Cloud native security related tools (AWS Guard Duty, AWS WAF and/or GCP Security Center)
- Proven interpersonal skills: Ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
