Simplee To Lead Panel On Healthcare Transparency At Stanford MedX

Discussion examines how transparency impacts strategy for healthcare providers and ways to effectively empower patients.

Simplee Chief Growth and Marketing Officer John Adractas will lead a panel exploring the growing importance of financial transparency for healthcare providers and their patients at the prestigious Stanford Medicine X conference this weekend at Stanford University.

The discussion will examine healthcare’s transition to proactive patient financial care, and the role of transparency throughout the customer journey. It will highlight patient stories, price estimation and value communication, and building systems that support patient decisions and realtime feedback.

Joining him on the panel will be Ellen Zwickl of Counsyl, former CFO of Lancaster General Health Dennis Roemer, and David Johnson, CEO of 4sight Health and author of the book: “Market vs Medicine: America’s Epic Fight for Better, Affordable Healthcare.”

“Fear and frustration surrounding their financial obligation is increasingly a barrier to satisfying clinical care for patients,” said Adractas. “This panel will examine the dimensions of transparency in supporting patients, example of innovations, the positive impact for patients, and the financial performance of providers.”

The panel will convene on Saturday, September 17th at 10:55am in a session entitled: “Empowering Patients with Transparency and Convenience and the Future of the Patient’s Financial Experience.”
