In FY 2024, Flywire processed $29.7 billion in total payment volume and generated $492 million in revenue. With over 1,200 "FlyMates" across 12 global offices, we serve more than 4,600 global clients in over 140 countries.
Driving Financial Inclusion Through Affordability & Accessibility
Our technology is breaking down financial barriers and making essential services more accessible:
Education
We've activated over 706,000 payment plans to make education more affordable. In the U.S., our solutions helped collect over $320 million in past-due tuition, saving more than 161,000 student enrollments. Our digital 529 disbursement solution has delivered $5 billion to schools and eliminated over 500,000 paper checks, connecting with 750 institutions and 51 saving plans. In India, we processed over $600 million in student loans for approximately 40,000 students through partnerships with the largest education loan providers.
Healthcare
We serve 25.6 million patient bills annually, with a patient paying a healthcare bill through Flywire every 2.6 seconds. Our clients have seen a remarkable 29% increase in revenue collections. We've expanded our Affordability Suite with Integrated Financing to offer flexible payment options.
Travel
We enable seamless payment experiences for travelers, supporting local economies in over 140 currencies across 240 countries and territories. In South Africa alone, we estimate contributing over $130 million to travel providers and tour operators in 2025.

Employee Satisfaction
95% of FlyMates consider Flywire a great place to work. We maintain an 88.4% employee retention rate.
Belonging
FlyMates represent over 60 nationalities and speak more than 35 languages. We have expanded Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to include Flywire LatinX and Flywire Asian and Pacific Islanders (API), creating spaces for identity, allyship, and leadership.
Career Development
FlyMates spent over 5,700 hours on learning and development in FY 2024. We offer programs like Mentorship Marketplace, Managers Taking Flight, and our global induction program, Flying Start.

We empower our FlyMates to make a personal impact:
Giving Back
Over $32,000 has been donated to global charities by FlyMates through FlyMatch, our global employee matching program, which has 100% participation from our executive leadership team.
Volunteering
FlyMates volunteered over 6,500 hours in FY 2024. We offer two paid "FlyBetter Days" annually for volunteering. Our partnership with School the World has helped build six schools in Guatemala. FlyMates also mobilized swiftly to support Valencia flood relief efforts, raising over $10,000.
Data Privacy, Security & Compliance
Trust is paramount, and we lead the industry in security and compliance:
- We adhere to global laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, FERPA, and HIPAA.
- Our platform leverages Payment Card Industry-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) and other best-in-class security measures.
- Our AI and ML-enabled fraud detection risk engine is trained against millions of transactions to mitigate fraud effectively.
Governance & Ethics
We are committed to ethical business practices and strong corporate governance. Our Board of Directors oversees risk and ethics, with continuous review of our risk management framework.
Environmental Impact
We are dedicated to reducing our environmental footprint:
- We've eliminated over 500,000 paper checks, reducing waste and our carbon footprint.
- Our cloud-based infrastructure partners aim for net-zero carbon by 2040.
- Through partnerships with Tomorrow's Air and the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund, we support carbon removal and biodiversity conservation.
We continue to measure and report our greenhouse gas emissions in alignment with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard, ensuring transparency and accountability in our sustainability efforts.
