The Opportunity:
We, at Flywire, believe people are our greatest asset. Working as part of the global People & Culture (P&C) team, this individual will be tasked with supporting our growing workforce in the Americas on their FlyMate journey. In collaboration with the global team, this individual will touch a variety of local HR functions such as onboarding, administration, organizational change, internal communications, culture, and more! Here are some tasks this individual will be expected to perform:
Provide daily support to our FlyMates based in the Americas (United States, Canada, & South America).
Manage and process P&C transactions including onboarding new hires, background checks, off-boarding, terminations, job and personal data changes, organizational changes, employee verifications, and life event changes.
Assist the Finance team with U.S. and Canada payroll administration.
Assist the benefits team with Benefits administration for the region.
Support the P&C Business Partner to manage immigration needs, which includes successful and timely immigration case initiations for permanent international transfers, relocations, new filings, and the documentation associated with the process.
Help audit and maintain personnel files and other official P&C documents within our systems.
Review and prepare all I-9 documents, and submit and manage E-Verify cases in ADP Workforce Now.
Liaise with other pillars of P&C (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Wellness, Experience) to support HR programs and initiatives as planned and needed
Engage with managers, leadership teams, and executives to drive engagement within the region through efforts to build and nurture the culture
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree (required)
Proven work experience as an HR Administrator/Coordinator with a minimum of 3 years experience.
Prior experience working with HRIS systems such as ADP or BambooHR for 2+ years
Prior experience pulling HR reports and telling stories with data
Someone who is organized, efficient and demonstrates a strong attention to detail with daily tasks.
Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
A high level of emotional intelligence while working with a spectrum of personalities within Flywire, locally and globally.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
A self-starter and collaborative attitude with the ability to be flexible and resourceful.
High level of confidentiality.
