The Opportunity
We, at Flywire, are seeking a Product Manager - Integrations to help lead our integration strategy with partners and ERP systems. Being a B2B2C company, the role demands an understanding of both client and end user’s needs, an innovative problem solving approach, and a bias towards exceptional user experience. Collaboration, relationship-building, and communication are key aspects to being successful in this role.
Product Managers at Flywire like to win. You’ll be part of the team who is focused on identifying and building market leading integration solutions. In order to accomplish this, you will be responsible for the integration strategy and roadmap for current and future integrations, working with cross functional teams, developing technical documentation, helping to maintain current partner integrations, and more. - Work closely with other Product Managers, clients, and internal stakeholders to understand their integration needs
- Assess current competitor offerings, industry trends, and higher education needs through working with clients directly, attending trade shows, and other research methods
- Work with our integrations and solutions teams to understand our current integration offerings and help transition maintenance of those integrations to Product and Engineering
- Work with documentation and technical writers to deliver product documentation and training materials
- Act as the main communication channel between the product and engineering team and internal stakeholders as well as our integration partners
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of product management experience in a SaaS software company
- Deep understanding and experience with ERP systems (Tribal SITS, StarRez, Thesis, Banner, PeopleSoft, Colleague, etc.)
- Experience building and maintaining complex integrations from the technical or functional-tech side
- Knowledge and understanding of the domestic and international payment space, including but not limited to credit card regulations, PCI, AML, etc.
- Familiar with JSON, JAVA, JAVA Script, SQL, Ruby, XML, Webhooks
- Ability to compile and communicate key insights to offer recommendations and solutions
- A drive to think strategically, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute methodically with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Enjoys team building and works well with functional and as well as technical teams
- Preferably fluent in English and one other language (French or Spanish)
- Humble - You do what’s best for the company, no politics, no ego
