The Opportunity:

  • As a member of the People Team, supports the implementation and global coordination of Flywire’s People Team programs & processes in accordance with Flywire’s values and the People Team’s vision and operating model, as well as Flywire’s Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity ideals

  • Supports cross-functional, global collaboration and compliance regarding all people processes & programs to ensure they are implemented and followed according to Flywire values/cultural norms, company practices & policies as well as regulatory statutes throughout the entire employee life-cycle. 

  • Manages sensitive employee relations information/ cases in collaboration with the Global People Partner team, legal, and external stakeholders in a confidential, documented and effective manner

  • Regularly collaborates and maintains cooperative relationships with the People Team’s Centers of Expertise (COEs) including Talent Acquisition, Experience, Total Rewards, L&D as well as cross-functional collaboration with global People Team partners (i.e., payroll, IT, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.) as needed on a regular and timely basis

  • Supports timely execution of Flywire’s annual and mid-year people processes & programs such as employee surveys, performance management, promotion and compensation cycles 

  • Acts as a People Team point of collaboration to ensure the right internal/ external stakeholders & partners are engaged in a timely manner to ensure the efficient execution of all people processes & programs while supporting FlyMates, people managers, and the global People Team 

  • Maintains and administers Flywire’s people systems & people programs so they are kept up-to-date in an globally aligned and compliant manner 

  • Ensures the accurate data collection and maintenance of sensitive employee information in accordance with data privacy laws and Flywire’s data security practices & policies. 

  • Performs people process and programs in a timely and compliant manner to offer a compelling FlyMate experience while meeting the Flywire’s SOCii and other audit requirements, which includes:

    • Onboarding FlyMates and ensuring accurate data collection & processing

    • Managing and ensuring FlyMate compensation adjustments are documented, communicated, and implemented in a timely and accurate manner

    • Ensuring FlyMate change of status including promotions, reporting line changes,  transfers, etc. are documented and implemented accurately and timely

    • Conducts and documents FlyMate Off-boardings and exits to ensure they are performed in a compliant and dignified manner

    • Manages and ensures accurate record keeping for FlyMate PTO and leave management

    • Supports the rollout, implementation, and documentation as required for FlyMate trainings as needed

    • Performs regular internal people team audits to ensure the accuracy of FlyMate employment records

  • Effectively uses data to communicate, propose changes, & present opportunities & risks to Flywire’s People Team processes & programs 

  • Accurately and timely reports People Team status updates and key performance indicators (KPIs) as directed

  • Collaborates and cooperates with external stakeholders to ensure all people programs & processes are managed and maintained effectively

  • Ensures the People Team’s communication programs and practices are aligned with People Team standards and conveyed in a consistent and timely manner

  • Participates and supports People Team projects as directed and in alignment with the global People Team in a timely manner to ensure delivery of high-quality experiences to FlyMates

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in global People Operations 

  • Strong “people-first” cross-functional employee and internal/external stakeholder service orientation

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex services, in a high volume, scaled environment, in accordance with documented processes and policies

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy; ability to do root cause analysis, use data, or if neither exist, use judgment and experience, to guide decisions and action plans
