The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire on the People Team, are seeking a Manager of Global Experience to lead our team of Experience Managers and Specialists across the globe. This person will lead all experience initiatives and be the strategic manager as we continue to navigate and design our new Fly-brid world. You will support Flywire’s efforts to build an inclusive, engaged, and innovative workforce across the globe, while upholding our culture and values.

  • Be the face of Flywire’s Experience team and manage a Global Experience team
  • Design, develop, and implement enterprise-wide culture strategies with core and consistent elements that drive towards delivering on the strategy, yet are tailored and impactful for different areas and audiences across the business.
  • Take a systemic view of culture transformation that extends beyond the core 'people' systems to ensure cultural changes are embedded across all levers. This includes operating models, organizational design, governance & decision frameworks, and change & communications frameworks
  • Influence, educate, and manage key stakeholders, including the Group Executive Team and senior leadership teams across the business.
  • Oversee all escalated issues in regards to office administration, making sure each office is running smoothly
  • Participate in strategic projects as we navigate and design our return to work and Fly-brid world
  • Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure that office equipment and facilities are serviced and working
  • Develop and maintain Program Management within the area, defining key programs that serve and support the Global business and People team strategy
  • Propose, plan and manage events (corporate and social) and other initiatives to keep our FlyMates connected and engaged in a Hybrid-model work environment (For both, our remote Flymates and at the office)
  • Support local recruiting efforts and assist with onsite interviews to ensure successful candidate visits
  • Manage experience team communications for the company on the global level (this includes all communication in The Wire, team meetings, and relevant slack channels)
  • Build, enhance and spread Flywire’s culture through the entire organization 
  • Work to amaze every FlyMate and make Flywire a company that people absolutely love
  • Support the People & Culture team by assisting on additional projects as needed 
  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 5+ office experience working with a multinational company
  • 5+ years of experience as an generalist, responsible for all areas of strategic Human Resources
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team
  • A clear impact/results orientation and ability to set dynamic, compelling goals, while ensuring clear accountabilities to align your team and deliver on commitments
  • A passion for company culture and creating a unique and memorable employee experience
  • Strong executive presence and a track record of cultivating strong and trusting relationships with cross-functional partners and executive leaders
  • Organized with keen attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Possesses the ability to own and execute on tasks efficiently as a self-starter
  • The ability to multitask and apply strong attention to detail to everything you do
  • Flexibility and the willingness to help the team as needed
  • A startup mentality, as well as an ability and interest in wearing multiple hats
  • International experience/exposure; studied, lived or worked abroad is a plus
