Bio
David King is Flywire’s Chief Product Officer and Co-President of Global Education, where he drives the software product vision and strategy across the company’s core verticals: Education, Travel, B2B, and Healthcare. A serial entrepreneur with a passion for the intersection of technology and business, David has been the driving force behind Flywire’s expansion into industry-specific software and the Student Financial Software (SFS) suite. In his role as Co-President of Global Education, he partners closely with Sharon Butler to accelerate SFS adoption and impact across priority global markets, including the US, UK, and Australia.
David has founded several influential companies, including infiNET Solutions, Inc., one of the first to deliver SaaS solutions to higher education, which processed over $16 billion annually. Following Nelnet’s acquisition of infiNET, David served as President of their Higher Education division. He also co-founded OnPlan Holdings (acquired by Flywire), leveraging his expertise in payments and analytics to develop innovative billing solutions. David holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Physics from Westminster College and an M.S. in Physics from Miami University. He currently serves on the advisory boards of PCI SSC, insITe, and Wine Country Online.
